About Our Mahbub Degree College
For a long time some of the outstanding members of Mahbub College Degree College like Late Prof. Kailasa Venkatramaiah, Formre Vice Chancellor, Kakatiya University, Late Major N.K. Vishwanath; late Sri R.S. Marthandam and Sri Naram Krishna Rao and some others have seriously thought over the idea to elevate Mahbub College High School into higher Institute of learning. Thus, Mahbub College Degree College was started during the year 1993-94 with B.Com. Course and affiliated to Osmania University, Later B.Com Computers was interduced during 1997-1998.
It is a self-financing private college providing quality education with less fees. It has highly qualified and well-experienced staff and is centrally located on R.P. Road in Secunderabad. The Management provided good infrastructural facilities such as spacious class rooms, vast play ground, well-established Computer Lab, Commerce Lab and Library. It is recognized as one of thebest centers of Higher Education in the jurisdiction of Osmania University. Sri A. Rama Mohan Rao was the first Principal and the year 2006-2007 heralded the entry of the second Principal Sri T. Prasad making the Institution march ahead to serve the educational needs of the poor and needy. The Management is actively considering introducing some more courses which are in demand.
